Technical Outline
Using hard film of about 1 micron of glossiness, design is created onto the stainless steel plate and with this, the stainless steel plate is waterproofed. Surface Dirt, such as fingerprint stands out easily and it is simply removed with water.
Purpose
It was developed as a surface treatment for stainless steel design steel plate. Subsequently, it has been used for the interior and exterior of building materials, such as elevator materials etc.
Features
- Finger print and stain marks are not conspicuous, and they are removable smoothly by water.
- Layer is very hard (over 9H: pencil hardness). That supplies good anti-abrasiveness.
- Layer is hydrophilic in-organic compound of silicate and very thin (about 1 μ㎜). The gross ratio of the subject is decreased a little by treatment but not mar the design (Mirror flash and gloss ratio finish subject are unavailable, the reason is that gloss ratio is decreased and FG3 layer may cause uneven gloss).
- After treatment of FG3, the subjects are able to be processed such as bending and laser cut (Micro-cracks are occurred by bending process, but are not visible. And FG3 layers are not peeled off). *Around cutting line by laser process, FG3 layers may be sometimes whitening and powdering. *The treatment of FG3 are done in our factory normally.
- These FG3 treatment solution is only water, not organic solvent, so that, these are environment friendly and do not cause the sick building syndrome problem.

The characteristics of removal of surface dirt
The removal of surface dirt on stainless steel vibration material (after drawing with black marker, water is dripped onto stainless steel material)
Materials do not become easily dirtied and fingerprints are not obvious.
Although it becomes a little blackish, the texture of the material remains unchanged. The film remains intact and its adhesion is good.
Effective for the raindrops falling on outdoors
With raindrops falling on the hydrophilic film, the raindrops flow down the film and does not leave any traces of water marks. The raindrops falling on the water repellent film does not leave any traces of water marks on the film as well. The film is rigid and is superior in wear resistance.
